who is eligible to be a creator?
Any undergraduate or graduate student from the Classes of 2020-2023.
what typeS of ideas are accepted?
We have two tracks to support all ventures, no matter what stage.
TEST TRACK: If you have a general sense of the idea you want to pursue, but are still in the early stages of brainstorming and testing solutions, you will start on our Test Track. With the support of a pod of Creators coached by a mentor, you will conduct market research, prototype, test and pivot. FAST TRACK: If you have been working on your venture prior to the program and are ready to acquire customers, test a high-fidelity prototype or seek funding, you will start on our Fast Track. The program runs from June 1 - August 14, 2020.
Creators will commit to a minimum of three one-hour meetings per week. To get the most out of the program, Creators will need to dedicate time to work independently on their ventures. Though there are many Creators in the program, most of your meetings will be with a smaller groups and you will schedule your weekly meeting based on availability and time zone. No idea, no worries! Submit the application and we will be in touch about next steps. You will see on the application a section to share your skills and interests. We will then match you with teammates.
how are mentor matches made?
Teams are matched with mentors based on the stage and needs of their venture. Creators will have the opportunity throughout the program to network with all mentors and Kinetic Council members.
what is the deadline to apply?
We are accepting applications on a rolling basis until July 1, 2020. Though the official program kickoff is June 1, 2020 - we encourage you to continue applying.
